That sounds great Tharyn and thank you for the encouragement about writing. I did actually finish my first newsletter for this year last night after I felt very excited, thanks to your post, about doing it consistently this year and I’ll include a link below.

I would love to send you a link each time I do, it’s a great way to be accountable, especially when working alone.

It will be epic indeed. Let me know when you write something and I will cheer you on. No more self sabotage. Just do it. I look forward to seeing what comes out of it.

I just read your post on your medium account, wow, it feels like it was written for me. :-)
I can completely relate to everything you wrote, including checking my Facebook account and e-mails to see if anything might have come up in the last 30 seconds that could change my life. As you already have experienced, there never is.

Whenever I do write something from my heart, publish it and see people’s response, is a high for me, just as you have described.

Recently a very dear and wise friend told me: “You just have to get over yourself and you can do amazing things”.
This was with regards to writing more blog posts and be consistent with my newsletters.
Our mind always is looking for reasons not having to write a blog post and part of checking the FB and e-mails every 30 seconds is probably looking for something to happen so that I never again have to write a blog post again. :-)
It’s strange really, because when we do write something inspiring, it feels soooo good.

It’s self sabotage which we humans seem to love.
A strong mindfulness practice is definitely the way to a better and more present life.

Thanks again and looking forward to a life changing and epic (love this word) year!

Ales, you sound like me sometimes. I get stuck in thought patterns regardless of what I do. However, I believe the most powerful ability that I have gained over the years was born of meditation. I learned to see myself – to see what happens in my head and take greater notice of how my thoughts effect my life experience. It comes with time. Keep up a strong mindfulness practice. I will write more about this in the future.

And I highly encourage you to write more if you love doing it. In fact, I created a great post about writing on my Medium account. You would really like it if you want to start blogging more. Here’s the link: https://medium.com/@tharyn13/now-is-the-write-time-ca1ffbf66fc

I look forward to making this an epic year. Let’s do this! :)

I really like coffee and have started replacing my afternoon cup with a nice cup of organic loose leaf tea. There are so many wonderful flavors and while I am still enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, not able to sacrifice a nice strong Italian cup to begin my day :-), the afternoon cup of tea has been a great replacement.

One of my goals is to be consistent with my blog posts. I have done very badly with that in 2014 and when I looked at when I published my last post, I couldn’t believe that I had done nothing in 2014. No time for feeling guilty and ashamed and I am currently working on my first blog post, apologizing to my list for the little communciation last year.

Another thing I want to work on, which I found you are giving some great advice on, is to attract something different, the kind of life I actually want. Once you are in a particular thought pattern, it is so easy to stay stuck in it, no matter how much you try affirmations and some of the other practices. It’s really a labor of love and I think consistency to keep at it is one of the keys.

Looking forward to reading your posts and your book.
Yes, let’s make 2015 the most smashing year ever!
– Ales
